Ireland's Festival of Art and Technology
This year, Beta Festival explores how technology is reshaping how we sense, perceive and understand the world around us. Bringing together artists working across installation, performance, sound, games, AI and digital media, the programme asks what happens when we de-centre the human perspective and begin to consider the intelligence of landscapes, plants, animals and machines.

Where Art Meets Technology Meets Society
Technology is rapidly changing how we communicate, work, create and imagine the future, in fact the predominate way that we experience the world is through technological tools.
Over two weeks, audiences are invited to encounter emerging technologies through artistic practice, public discourse and collective experience. The festival creates space for curiosity, challenge and imagination, bringing together local and international voices to explore the opportunities, tensions and questions shaping contemporary life.

The festival opens with a major discourse programme bringing together artists, researchers, cultural leaders and technologists for conversations that go beyond the headlines.
Expect keynote talks, workshops, debates and critical discussions exploring the cultural, ethical and societal implications of emerging technologies.
Assembly
A flagship programme of the festival which in 2024 and 2025 discussed AI & Art.
The Assembly format brings together artists, policymakers, researchers and the public to examine the impact of new technologies on arts and culture.
Designed as a space for meaningful public dialogue, the Assembly has become one of Ireland's leading forums for critical conversations around technology, creativity and society.
The AI Art Assembly published reports out of each event which have been shared with policy makers and have informed capacity building within the sector.
